The location of Dar Echchaouen is breathtakingly beautiful.

Unfortunately, my arrival was marred by a terrible check-in experience. The front desk staff seemed indifferent to my presence and provided little assistance. Additionally, the parking situation was quite chaotic, making the start of my stay far from enjoyable.

The views were stunning, but the heating in our room was nonexistent.

What a fab stay! Our room had an amazing view over the mountains and it was super spacious. Loved chilling on the verandah with our morning coffee. The breakfast was top-notch, especially the homemade pastries! Only wish the hike up to our room wasn’t so steep. Still, totally worth it for the views!

Charming grounds, friendly staff, the seasonal outdoor pool was a refreshing escape after a day of exploring the beautiful blue town, and the room was comfortable with a lovely view of the surrounding hills.

We booked a suite with a balcony that had amazing views of the blue city. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. The bed was super comfy, and the AC worked perfectly, which was a plus. It was great having a terrace to enjoy the sunset. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

my stay at dar echchaouen maison d'hotes & riad bed & breakfast was seriously incredible. the room was stunningly decorated, and the heated bathroom floor was a lovely surprise. plus, the breakfast spread was delicious, and their shrimp tagine is a must-try!

This place was just a strong match for a fleeting pause in Chefchaouen with very good value for money. I really enjoyed the large living room/lounge area shared with others, perfect for relaxing after a day. Be ready for plenty of steps if you’re staying here, though!
